week 6 thing 13
Del.icio.us is not only an easy way to create bookmarks that can be accessed from anywhere, but in my opinion, a tool potentially for research assistance.
week 9 thing 23
Twenty Three Things has been a mind bending program for me. I feel it has given me a look at the future. I only wish I had more time to discover more about each one the the things. I'm grateful for the opportunity to participate in the program.
week 9 thing 22
I went into Project Gutenberg to see if I could find The Garden Party by Katherine Mansfield, one of my favorite short stories. I did find it and its great that its free.
week 9 thing 21
Podcasts are certainly additional sources of information for libraries. I found podcasts for Katherine Mansfield and Diaries.

week 9 thing 20
I selected the site AMAZING PRESIDENT FACTS on YouTube because I felt I had more basis for comparison with it. I think it has the potential to be used with library history sites.
week 8 thing 19
Anyone can publish for free and sell worldwide quickly and easily on www.lulu.com. This is an amazing discovery for me.
week 8 thing 18
As a self published author, it is an innovative discovery to find that I can publish and email on zoho writer.
week 7 thing 16
It's interesting to me that wikis can be created on any subject or activity. I think the most striking application of wikis is to get better information more easily and quickly into people's hands. What's in a wiki? Anything you want. Lack of imagination is your only limitation.
week 6 thing 15
Library 2.0 is as exciting to me as if I were with Gutenberg when he invented movable type. Also we have gone from a psychology of scarcity to one of abundance as far as "content" is concerned.

week 6 thing 13
Registering or signing up for Del.icio.us wasn't easy but I'm sure it will be worth the effort.
